China has introduced a visa-free regime with Ukraine

Beijing introduced for passengers in transit visa-free stay in the city for 72 hours. Outside the Chinese capital, foreign tourists would not be able to travel.

Since January 1, 2013 Beijing enters the right 72-hour transit visa for citizens of 45 countries, including Ukraine, arriving in the Chinese capital.

Appropriate decision taken by the Government of the People's Republic, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov.

"The main purpose of the visa-free transit is an expansion of China's foreign relations, the acceleration of the process of internationalization of Beijing and promote inbound tourism", - said Dikusarov.

He stressed that under the visa-free transit of foreigners are not allowed to travel outside of Beijing, and their stay in the capital does not exceed three days.

Note that transit implies a passenger of a third country visa and ticket to the destination of the flight.

Beijing travel agencies have set up special three-day program for travelers who want to see the main attractions. Chinese authorities hope that the innovation will increase the flow of tourists and thus profit from the industry for at least two times.
