The law comes into force on the limitation of places of tobacco use

On December 16, 2012 from the premises of restaurants, bars, cafes, canteens disappear ashtrays, and in enterprises, institutions and organizations of private ownership will be specially designated smoking areas.

This decision was made by the deputies in order to improve the anti-smoking legislation in Ukraine. Law on Amendments to Some Laws of Ukraine to improve certain provisions to limit tobacco use places comes into force six months after its publication, ie 16.12.2012 year.

Changes in the way, mostly in the articles of the law under the number 13, which governs restrictions on sale and use of tobacco products (maybe it will be important for the superstitious fans of tobacco and its derivatives).

According danogo Act on December 16, you can not show up with a lit cigarette (cigars, cigarillos, electronic cigarette, hookah, etc.) in the following locations:

• in elevators and payphones;
• in the premises and in health care facilities;
• in the premises and in the schools;
• on the playground;
  in the premises and in the sports and health and fitness facilities and institutions of physical culture and sports;
• in dwelling houses;
• in underground passages;
• in public transport, used for the carriage of passengers;
• Indoor facilities restaurant industry;
• in areas of cultural facilities;
• in areas of state and local governments, other government agencies;
• on fixed-route bus stops equipped vehicles.

Prohibited, except in designated smoking areas, smoking tobacco products:

• the premises of enterprises, institutions and organizations of all forms of ownership;
• recorded in hotels and similar accommodation facilities citizens;
• indoor dormitories;
• at airports and railway stations.

At the time of the events, local councils can ban or restrict smoking within the administrative territory.
