Oleksandra Pavlenko, lawyer of «Aleksey Pukha and Partners», will take part in the round table «Human Rights in Healthcare»

Oleksandra Pavlenko will participate in a round table on human rights issues in sphere of health care, organized by the Association of Advocates of Ukraine, Educational-Scientific Center of Medical Law of Judicial Faculty of Kiev National University named after Taras Shevchenko and committees of Legal and Patient Orientation of the Public Council under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The organizers notice, that the purpose of the round table is improvement of human rights legislation and advocacy practice in health care. Legal aspects of universal access to health care and medicines in the present social-economic conditions are the key issues for the panelists.

Participants of the round table will also consider the following important issues of patients' movement in Ukraine and the reality of human rights protection mechanisms in health sector, patient’s centricity and its reflection in the laws and trends of «medical» cases.

Attention to the round table is caused by the current state of health care and significant number of human rights violations in the health care sector.

The round table will be held on December 22nd, 2015 at Volodymyrska street, 60, Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko. Beginning of the meeting at 14.00.
