Cabinet has approved the proposed unification of the Ministry of Justice of the payment of notarial services

The government on July 18 approved by the Ministry of Justice developed a draft law amending the Law of Ukraine on notaries regarding the regulation of fees for notarial acts.

As the office of the Ministry of Justice pre6ss referring to the Minister of Justice Elena Lukash, the bill provides, inter alia, the introduction of uniform rates of notarial fees for the provision of notarial services in all regions of Ukraine.

In addition, the bill will prevent "the imposition of surcharges notary public services" and ensure the provision of benefits to people who provide benefits to pay the notary fee.

The bill also would eliminate the need for a notary to certify the authenticity of copies of about 50 documents that are used in civil and commercial relations.

As reported, the Ministry of Justice has proposed a set fee for notary services based on the ratio of the minimum wage in the country, as well as clearly defined list of such services and to set minimum / maximum limit of payment for services related to the committed private notaries notarial acts.
