A bill to protect the rights of entrepreneurs in conducting inspections

Today, 20 June, the parliament passed the second reading and the whole bill number 2698 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the removal of restrictions in the economic activity", submitted by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. The document was supported by 232 MPs, the press service of the People's Deputy Dmitry Shpenova. Presenting the bill, Mr. Shpenov (fraction of the "Party of Regions"), noted that with the adoption of the document regulatory authorities, together with the adoption of restrictive decisions on economic entities will be required to file a lawsuit in the Administrative Court, which will confirm or refute the validity of the decision.

"Even now, with the entry into force of the Code of Civil Defense of Ukraine, full stop of the enterprise is only possible after the decision in court. The bill states that the regulatory authorities will be required to seek approval of the Court and in the case of other sanctions. Such sanctions may include, for example, confiscation or seizure of the goods, the termination of the individual business units and so forth, "- said Dmitry Shpenov.

"In other words, the owner will be forced to prove his innocence in court, and the supervisory authority will be obliged to present convincing evidence of violations of the economic entity. This greatly contributes to the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs ", - says the MP.
