Training future lawyers will charge you 20 times the minimum wage

The Bar Council of Ukraine at its meeting on June 1 approved a program of internships for the person a certificate of right to practice law, and also made changes to the Regulation on the Organization and internships for the person a certificate of right to practice law. As explained by the rapporteur on this issue, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Valentine Nails, in some regions of the Bar Council are waiting for clarification from a higher authority, while others have already started an internship. But all this process takes place in different ways. This was due to the relevance of the issue of approval of such documents.

Following the discussion, it was agreed that the head of training, which is responsible for the trainee makes a report on its results and some time will be engaged in mentoring young lawyer must be one. But if the trainee wishes, or hold certain life circumstances, it can be transferred to an internship in another region.

At the same time internship position specifies that the program will pay for trainees and costs 20 times the minimum wage. Change the location for an additional period of internship and will cause an increase in costs with time spent additional training or internship in another region (2 MW / month). With these funds the regional councils will pay compensation attorneys lawyers, heads of training that will share their experience (not less than one minimum wage per month), to cover the costs of organizing educational activities for trainees, including inviting speakers - judges, prosecutors, experts in various industry, finance and other costs related to the organization of the internship.

In this case, ACS decided to create opportunities in the regions with a population of more than 3,000 lawyers, create centers of excellence and training for internships through these centers. In addition, the mandatory information about lawyers who want to be leaders training by region, will be included in a special register, hosted at NAAU, with information about existing trainees. The same information about the trainees will be made in the ERAU. The registers will be conducted on the basis of information submitted Bar Council of Regions.
