Ukraine's budget deficit in January-February 2013 reached 2.3 billion USD - Finance

Deficit of the state budget of Ukraine in January-February 2013 reached 2.334 billion USD, while in the same period last year, the state budget surplus amounted to 4.698 billion USD, according to the website of the Ministry of Finance.

"The deficit of the general fund (budget - IF) amounted to 6 billion 131.9 million UAH, which is 5,000,000,000 388,500,000 UAH smaller paintings during this period," - the report says.

As reported, the general fund budget surplus in January-February 2012 amounted to 3.439 billion USD. According to the report, the budget deficit in February amounted to 698.2 million USD, after the deficit 1.636 billion USD in January this year, in February last year, the state budget recorded a surplus of $ 3.237 billion USD.

Ukraine's state budget includes a general fund, which receives taxes and fees that finance major capital expenditures, and a special fund, whose funds were earmarked. In this case, the budget deficit is calculated as the difference between the sums of its revenues and returned to the budget credits, as well as expenses and loans granted from the state budget.
